Sydney based, Kirrilly Brentnall is an experienced Story Producer, Field Producer & Post Producer.
Career highlights include: working on 20 episodes of the popular history series Who do you think you are? for SBS Television; traveling through Oceania for Pacific: in the wake of Captain Cook with Sam Neill; dipping into oceans across Australia for the ABC's The Pool; chasing down bushrangers for the History Channel's Lawless: the real Bushrangers; weaving the drama & emotion for the Nine Network's Emergency and cutting stories at breakneck speed for Go Back to where you came from LIVE.
Kirrilly directed and produced the one-hour art documentary Eric Smith: not finished yet, which was broadcast on Australian Television for SBS’ STUDIO TV and screened internationally in festivals.
A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts Film School, Kirrilly has worked for a number of television production companies in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, including: SAM Content, Warner Bros.Television International; CJZ, Genepool; Essential Media; Wildbear Entertainment; Mint Pictures; Screentime; Northern Pictures; Lune Media; Cornerbox; Artemis Media and 360 Degree Films. Kirrilly has also worked with international companies including the UK's Wall to Wall, London, Caravan Media and Middlechild, Brighton.
Kirrilly has a keen interest in history, science and the arts and is passionate about bringing unknown tales to the screen through dynamic storytelling techniques.
